Zancor’s “Meat & Greet” BBQ in King City

On August 11, 2013, we headed up to King City for the “Meat & Greet” barbecue hosted by Zancor Homes. Zancor invited all the purchasers of their King communities (The Market Collection, The Royal Collection, and King’s Ridge) to come out and meet their current and future neighbours.
Summer fun in King City
Zancor went all out for their “Meat & Greet” event. There were three giant bouncy castle setups for the kids, an ice cream truck serving all sorts of cold treats, and it was fully catered!
We could tell by the turnout that Zancor is building true family oriented communities in King City - there seemed to be more children than adults! Plus, the park where they held the barbecue is located right next to an elementary school.
We had the opportunity to speak with a man named Errol, one of the owners of a new townhome in King’s Ridge. He said that he moved in this past February and he absolutely loves it. Errol mentioned how great the area is, the high quality of his home, and how much he appreciates all the energy saving features.
King’s Ridge is now sold out, but there are still homes available at Zancor’s two other King City communities: The Market Collection and The Royal Collection.
The Market Collection
The Market Collection features singles on 42’ lots and estate townhomes. The sizes of the available homes at The Market Collection range from 1,782 to 3,719 square feet. A few of the high end features and finishes include 9’ ceilings on the main floors, oak stairs, custom designed kitchen cabinetry with oak or maple finish, and natural prefinished hardwood flooring.
The Market Collection is located at King Road and Dufferin, practically across the street from the stunning streetscapes of King’s Ridge.
The Royal Collection
At The Royal Collection, Zancor is offering singles on 42’ lots, as well as luxury townhomes. The sizes of the available homes at The Royal Collection range from 1,855 to 3,722 square feet. Some of the impressive interior features and finishes include 10’ ceilings on the main floors, spa rain showerheads in the elegant bathrooms, designer custom-crafted wood cabinetry in the gourmet kitchens, granite countertops, and high quality ceramic tiling.
The Royal Collection is located closer to King Road and Keele, just down the street from The Market Collection and King’s Ridge.
