You Need to Register for the Grand Finale of Aurora Trails!
By Lucas on Apr 16, 2015
It may be a couple months away, but this is definitely big enough news for you to start getting excited now. What are we talking about? You haven’t heard? Arista Homes, Fieldgate Homes, Opus Homes, and Paradise Homes are launching the final phase at Aurora Trails in June!
These four GTA leading homebuilders will be releasing collections of freehold townhomes, semi-detached homes, and detached singles. The homes will range from 1,495 to 3,350 square feet, and the singles will be available on 32’, 38’, and 44’ lots.
Because of the overwhelming success of the previous phase, the builders are collecting registrations early so that everyone has a chance to register for an invite to the VIP Preview, which will likely be held in early June.
Last year’s preview opening was also held in June, and Mayor of Aurora Geoffrey Dawe was in attendance to commemorate the community’s milestone, along with hundreds of prospective purchasers. A few days before that opening, Dawe also attended the ribbon cutting at Aurora Trails. The Aurora Trails launch was so popular and highly anticipated that our blog post about the event was actually the fourth most viewed post for all of 2014.
Building a life in Aurora Trails
Without a doubt, residents of Aurora and others in the GTA recognize the great potential that the Aurora Trails community is tapping into, and part of that potential is due to the town’s incredible natural landscape. That’s why it is so important that the builders are dedicating over 40% of the land to public green space. There will be environmentally protected lands, stormwater management ponds, winding bike trails and pedestrian friendly paths, and a two-hectare community park.
Other amenities include the Coltham Farm House, which is a century old, stone farmhouse that has been moved to what will be the entry to the Aurora Trails community. The Coltham site will offer a variety of community services. There are also the Marsh and Weslie Creeks, and the Butternut Plantation. The Butternut Plantation is very important to the area because this species of tree is endangered. A grove of butternut trees will be planted along side companion oaks, helping to preserve the species.
Of course, the surrounding neighbourhood also offers a wealth of family-oriented amenities, including a number of schools, restaurants, world-class golf courses, and shopping opportunities. For schools, some of the closest options to Aurora Trails are Stonehaven Elementary, St. Jerome Catholic Elementary, and Rick Hansen Public Elementary. There are also a few high schools nearby, so Aurora Trails is an ideal community in which to set firm roots.
Along with education, one of the most important amenities for a family is easy access to grocery stores. Just south of Aurora Trails, there is the Walmart Aurora Supercentre. To the north, there’s Vince’s Market. Then to the west, you have a number of options, including a Sobeys and Real Canadian Superstore.
If you have a golfer in the family, Aurora Trails is golfer heaven. The prestigious St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Club is a few minutes away, and then there are literally another dozen options just a drive, pitch, and putt away (okay, you’d have to really whack that ball, but you get what we mean).
To get around, you can either do so with or without a car. If you want to commute to downtown Toronto by car, all you have to do is hop on the 404. If you don’t feel like dealing with traffic, just park the car at the Aurora GO Station, which is less than a 10 minute drive from your front door. With a few main transportation arteries nearby, all the amenities of neighbouring areas like Newmarket, downtown Toronto, Richmond Hill, and Vaughan are easily accessible.
