Wyview Group launching Phase 2 of Unionville Gardens!
By Lucas on Oct 07, 2015
This past summer, we had the opportunity to meet Mr. Wang Wei Xiang, Chairman of Wyview Group, as well as Vice-President Ms. Lilin Ye, to chat about their big plans for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), starting with their first project in Canada, Unionville Gardens. As of the beginning of October, the West Tower of Unionville Gardens has sold out, and the East Tower and townhomes just launched to VIP brokers!
Wyview Group hosted a large brokers event and launch party for over 400 people in Markham to announce the release of the condo units and freehold townhomes. Members of the Unionville Gardens team were all in attendance, including representatives from Tucker HiRise, the construction management company for Unionville Gardens, Kirkor Architects + Planners, II By IV Design, and SBK Landscape Architecture.
“We are here to salute the brokers who have been so instrumental in our success so far, as well as to officially launch the East Tower and the townhomes,” Ye announced to the large crowd. “Unionville Gardens has it all, offering refined luxury in the heart of Markham.” Ye continued, stating that the luxury townhomes would feature rooftop terraces, skylights, and personal elevators (depending on the floor plan).
“Every project we’ve done in Markham has created great value for every client we’ve worked for, and one of the successes of Kirkor is building this value into our projects and when people buy it, they all appreciate the value,” said Clifford Korman, founding partner of Kirkor Architects + Planners. “We bring successful projects to fruition, which is something that is very commendable and we're very pleased to do this with the Wyview Group.”
“Unionville Gardens offers superb social and recreational amenities in an amazing location - it is not your typical downtown glass and steel tower, it reflects an approachable design and provides a sense of neighbourhood into the community, borrowing classical elements from the past and blending them with modern flair,” added Vivian Wong, an interior designer at II By IV Design.
Wong listed a few standard interior features at Unionville Gardens that are typically considered upgrades in other buildings, such as European style stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, engineered laminate flooring, and designer cabinetry.
“The design makes a statement with a combination of beautiful decadent glass patterned screens, classical furniture forms, modern silhouettes, and traditional building details that reflect a well appointed lifestyle,” explained Wong.
Located at Hwy 7 and Village Parkway, Unionville Gardens has attracted many buyers thanks to the top rated high school district, as well as all of the convenient neighborhood amenities, such as the Whole Foods across the street.
Wyview Group took this opportunity to announce their plans for the next two sites along Hwy 7. When we first spoke with Mr. Wang Wei Xiang, he shared Wyview’s master-plan for Markham and the GTA, explaining that they have about 3,000 residential units in the works.
Wyview Group will be bringing 500 units and 150,000 square feet of office space to 3555 Hwy 7, and they have a major project planned for the Sheridan Nurseries land, also along Hwy 7 (Wyview has five sites along Hwy 7 and land in downtown Toronto, which will be developed at a later date).
