Winners of the 37th annual BILD Awards

The winners of the 37th annual Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) Awards have been announced! The BILD Awards recognizes excellence and innovation in the Greater Toronto Area’s (GTA) new home building industry, from design and construction to marketing and sales.
Established in 1980, the BILD Awards are likely the most prestigious industry awards in the GTA. The winners are determined by the Association, as well as the results from a new homeowner survey.
The awards fall under four different categories; Pinnacle, Marketing, Architectural, and Peoples & Sales. Each award is determined by creativity, quality, innovation, and overall excellence that the project, campaign, team, or person brought to the industry.
A big congrats goes out to Tridel who took home three Pinnacle awards; Project of the Year - Mid/High-Rise, Home Builder of the Year - Mid/High-Rise, and Green Builder of the Year - Mid/High-Rise. Also, Aquabella, Tridel’s waterfront development won the People’s Choice Award!
“People’s Choice is a unique award because it is the public who decide the winner,” says BILD President and CEO Bryan Tuckey. “The projects that competed for this year’s title showcased the best in city building and demonstrated how the industry is providing a wide range of housing options for GTA homebuyers.”
