WestBeach Condominiums is coming to The Beach in Toronto!
By Lucas on Jan 24, 2017
We have exciting news for those in search of a new condo to call home in Toronto’s blossoming east end - Marlin Spring has announced their latest condominium development, WestBeach Condominiums in The Beach.
We’re looking forward to receiving the first official rendering of WestBeach, which will be released soon. Here’s what to expect: Designed by Graziani & Corazza Architects, WestBeach will be a mid-rise building with a terraced exterior. The elegant design will surely enhance The Beach’s already beautiful streetscape.
Emphasis has been placed on the outdoor spaces with intelligent designs by renowned landscape architecture firm, NAK Design Strategies. The interiors will boast an urban contemporary flair with eye-catching designs by U31.
There will be 89 suites in total with one- and two-bedroom floor plans, some of which will have dens. The WestBeach amenities will include a pet spa, a hobby room, a fitness centre, and a party lounge with dining, a catering kitchen, and a bar.
Marlin Spring’s The Mack in Vaughan and Canvas Condominium in Toronto both have clean, urban, geometric designs with features that complement surrounding architecture. We suspect they approached the design of WestBeach in a similar fashion, which is important because The Beach has such a unique look and feel.
Your life in The Beach
Located at Queen Street East and Coxwell Avenue, WestBeach Condominiums is surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes, and parks. Other important area amenities you may need on a daily basis, like banks and grocery stores, are also within walking distance. An LCBO is only a few steps away, and if you’re looking to step out for a movie, Alliance Cinemas is your go-to.
Of course, one of the biggest benefits of living in The Beach is your close proximity to Toronto’s Ashbridges Bay Park and Woodbine Beach, both of which are only a 10 minute walk to the south. Kew Beach is also nearby; you can get there in 10 minutes via transit or enjoy the 20 minute walk on a warm summer day.
The Beach has a laid back vibe - the perfect vibe to have at home. If you work downtown in the Financial District, you can go to and from work via the Queen streetcar, which runs 24 hours a day. There’s no need to own a car if work is 30 minutes away on transit and everything else is within a few steps. Imagine finishing up a long day at your desk job in the heart of downtown, then catching the streetcar, reading a chapter of your book, and then arriving home in the peaceful east end.
The Beach has been a popular area for empty nesters, especially those already living in the neighbourhood. There are also plenty of opportunities for first-time buyers to call WestBeach Condominiums home.
