It’s rare when a real estate story grabs the attention of the entire Greater Toronto Area. When Frank Gehry and David Mirvish announced their plans for the current Princess of Wales Theatre at King St. West and John St., that’s exactly what happened.

This is Toronto’s chance to alter its reputation of having bland architectural designs. The plan will soon be in the hands of our city planners, and if they are approved, we may have a new standard of design in Toronto.
