Upper Valleylands in Brampton is now open!

There were many new home openings last weekend – one of the most successful was the Upper Valleylands opening in Brampton!
Fieldgate Homes released a highly anticipated collection of freehold urban townhomes, freehold townhomes, semis, and 30’, 38’, and 41’ detached homes. The difference between the urban townhomes and the other townhomes is that the urban towns are three-storey models.
The homes range from 1,500 to 3,300 square feet, so there is a wide selection of new home options for families of all sizes. There were a few kids and some baby strollers present at the opening, so it’s great to see families have identified Upper Valleylands as an ideal community in which to raise children.
We arrived slightly before the sales office doors opened at 10 am. According to the sales staff, a few cars started rolling into the parking lot a couple hours before. When the sales office opened, Fieldgate let the first group of 10 in to view the selection of lots and elevations.
As the first group browsed, buyers were still arriving and the line up continued to grow. It was only a few minutes before the first family was sitting down to sign their Agreement. A few other buyers followed shortly after.
What’s interesting about the Upper Valleylands turnout is that it was slightly smaller in the morning, but the crowd continued to grow throughout the day. Also, there were many buyers! This tells us that the market is calm but steady, there is less of a sense of urgency, and there are more end-users.
We think it’s a good thing that families can comfortably attend an opening and make a home purchasing decision without feeling like they are missing out or that someone else is going to snag their opportunity. For most buyers, finding the right home is all about choosing the right community and home type that accommodates their family.
