Trimart: Warm Weather Heats Up New Low-rise Market

On this week’s new low-rise report, Trimart Research Corporation credits the warm weather for the big boost in site traffic and sales figures. Many new releases in May brought a wide variety of inventory to the new low-rise market, and the warm temperatures put everyone in a buying mood.
Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:
We have lost count of how many times Mattamy Homes has topped Trimart’s weekly reports. This week, Mattamy’s Kitchener community, Wildflowers, took the top spot with 46 sales last month. Wildflowers features townhomes and 30’, 36’, and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,263 to 3,164 square feet. Prices start from just $254,990.
Coming in second with 37 sales last month is Stonehaven, a Newmarket project by National Homes. Stonehaven features 40’ detached homes ranging from 2,545 to 3,535 square feet. Prices start as low as $699,990.
Taking the third spot is Mount Pleasant by Great Gulf, a Brampton community that saw 15 sales last month. Mount Pleasant offers a collection of semis, as well as 34’ and 40’ detached homes. The homes range from 1,755 to 3,085 square feet and prices can be found as low as $500,990.
The fourth spot is occupied by Village of Southfields by Monarch, which had 14 sales last month. Located in Caledon, Village of Southfields features townhomes and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,630 to 3,971 square feet. Prices start from $391,990.
Placing fifth is Fieldgate Homes’ award-winning Kleinburg community, Impressions, which saw 12 sales in April. Impressions features rear lane townhomes, 28’ semis, and 30’, 38’, and 44’ detached homes. The homes range from 1,696 to 3,600 square feet with prices starting at $510,990.
Coming in sixth on this week’s Trimart report is Harbourside by Senator Homes, a Whitby community that had seven sales last month. Harbourside offers urban townhomes ranging from 698 to 1,322 square feet with prices starting at just $239,900.
