Trimart: Temperature and Low-Rise Sales Increasing

Now that the summer heat is in full swing, Trimart Research Corporation is getting excited about the recent success of the new low-rise market. With 17 new site openings in June 2014, Trimart believes that sales will continue to climb through summer, beating last year’s sales figures. As of May, Mattamy Homes is leading the new low-rise scene with 1,533 year-to-date sales. Minto is in second with 313, and Fieldgate and Greenpark are tied for third with 294 sales each.

Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:

Mount Pleasant North - via Mattamy Homes

Mattamy Homes is no stranger to the top position of Trimart’s weekly reports. Their Brampton community, Mount Pleasant North/Village saw 67 sales last month. The community features village homes, three-storey townhomes, and 30’ and 38’ single detached homes, ranging from 612 to 2,808 square feet. Prices start from just $202,990.

Meadow Green - via Regal Crest Homes

Second place is taken by Regal Crest Homes’ Brampton community, Meadow Green, which saw 30 sales during its opening weekends. Meadow Green offers townhomes, semis, and 38’ and 46’ detached homes. With prices starting at $447,900, the homes range from 1,889 to 3,906 square feet.

Impressions - via Fieldgate Homes

The third spot is taken by Fieldgate Homes’ Impressions community in Kleinburg, which had 22 sales last month. Impressions features rear lane townhomes, 28’ lane semis, and 30’, 38’, and 44’ detached homes. The homes range from 1,696 to 3,600 square feet, with prices as low as $510,990.

Mulberry Meadows - via Sundial Homes

Mulberry Meadows in Ajax by Sundial Homes also saw 22 sales last month. Mulberry Meadows offers 36’ and 40’ detached homes ranging from 1,987 to 2,768 square feet. Prices can be found as low as $474,990.

Vales of Humber - via Greenpark

Coming in fifth place with 15 sales last month is another Brampton community, Vales of Humber by Greenpark. This community features 50’, 55’, 86’, and 100’ detached homes ranging from 1,926 to 7,683 square feet. Prices range from $673,990 to over $1.5 million.

Victoria Highlands - via Rosehaven Homes

The last spot on the weekly Trimart report is taken by Victoria Highlands in Mt. Albert, a community by Rosehaven Homes. The community features 50’ detached homes ranging from 2,091 to 3,586 square feet, with prices starting as low as $579,990.
