Trimart: A Strong Start to Summer
By Lucas on Jul 09, 2013
According to this week’s Trimart report, the sales numbers for new low-rises will just keep on rising through summer, with no sign of slowing down. Many of the sales for the first half of the year are being credited to new site openings and releases. The good folks at Trimart seem very confident that the low-rise market will remain strong for the rest of the year.
Listed below are a few notable sites for the last month:
Placing first on this week’s Trimart report is Hazelton Place, a Mississauga community by The Daniels Corporation. Hazelton Place achieved 74 sales with a new release earlier in June. Hazelton Place features a wide array of urban townhomes, with sizes ranging from 580 to 1,305 square feet. Prices are starting at $243,900.
Coming in second on the Trimart report with 16 sales last month is Salisbury Square, a new Brampton community by Mattamy Homes. Salisbury Square features Village Homes, three-storey towns, and detached homes on 30’ and 36’ lots. The sizes at Salisbury Square range from 1,031 to 2,540 square feet, with prices starting at $307,900.
Third place this week, with 16 sales last month, is taken by V2 Condos, a Guelph development by Vanmar Homes. V2 Condos features urban townhomes ranging in size from 790 to 1,666 square feet. Prices at V2 Condos are starting as low as $229,900.
