Trimart: Strong February for New Low-Rise Market

Trimart Research Corporation continues to gather new low-rise housing data for February 2014 for the Total Market Area, and so far, sales are looking strong. Trimart credits the diversity of product types being offered by today’s builders for February’s high sales figures.
Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:
Placing first on this week’s Trimart report is The Arbors, an Aurora community by Brookfield Homes, which saw 53 sales in its opening month. The Arbors features a selection of detached homes on 30’, 36’, and 43’ lots. The homes range from 1,530 to 2,940 square feet and prices start at $564,990.
Coming in second with 28 sales last month is Kingmeadow, an Oshawa community by Minto. Kingmeadow features townhomes and 36’ and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,068 to 3,502 square feet. Prices start at just $229,990.
Third place is taken by Churchill Woods, a Greenpark project in Mississauga that saw 12 sales last month. At Churchill Woods, Greenpark is offering an array of semi-detached homes, ranging from 1,654 to 2,135 square feet. Prices start as low as $533,990.
Occupying the fourth position, also with 12 sales last month, is Tranquility, an Ajax community by Monarch. Tranquility features 40’ detached homes ranging from 2,293 to 3,253 square feet. You can call this community home for as little as $554,900.
Placing fifth is Credit Manor Heights by Regal Crest Homes, a Brampton community that saw six sales last month. Credit Manor Heights boasts a wide selection of home types including townhomes and 35’, 47’, 50’, and 70’ detached homes. The sizes range from 1,640 to 5,110 square feet and prices start as low as $413,900.
Sixth place on this week’s Trimart report is Harbourside, a Whitby community by Senator Homes, which also achieved six sales last month. At Harbourside, Senator Homes is offering a collection of urban townhomes, ranging from 698 to 1,322 square feet. Prices start at $239,900.
