Trimart: A Good Start to the Second Half of 2013

According to Trimart, the strong sales numbers through July are proof that the success of the first half of the year is carrying through to the second half. Canadian housing starts have been stronger than expected, and the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation has adjusted their May housing starts to 204,616 from the initially recorded 200,178.
Some notable sites for the month of July are listed below:
Placing first on this week’s Trimart report is HOT, a Mississauga development by Great Gulf, which achieved 18 sales in July. HOT features urban townhomes that range in size from 621 to 1,215 square feet. Prices are starting at $277,990.
Second place on this week’s Trimart Report is taken by Hampshire Mews, a community by Heathwood Homes in Richmond Hill. Hampshire Mews also offers urban townhomes, with sizes ranging from 1,037 to 1,439 square feet. Prices are starting at $417,900, and there were 12 sales in July.
Coming in third, with eight sales in July, is Greenbrook Village, a Shelburne community by Lakeview Homes. Greenbrook Village features detached homes on 40’ lots, with living spaces ranging from 860 to 3,240 square feet. Prices at Greenbrook Village are starting at $279,990.
Fourth this week on the Trimart report is Baker Street, a Toronto community by Royalpark Homes, which achieved six sales last month. Baker Street offers urban townhomes with sizes ranging from 426 to 1,175 square feet. Prices are starting at $239,990.
Placing fifth with five sales in July is Churchill Woods, a community in Mississauga by Greenpark. At Churchill Woods, Greenpark is featuring semi-detached homes, with sizes ranging from 1,586 to 2,135 square feet. Prices at Churchill Woods can be found as low as $498,990.
