Trimart: Spring Ends on a High Note

Now that spring is over, some final numbers are rolling in for the season. Trimart’s annual forecast has already been 40.8% achieved, and spring ended with an upward trend. May was the fifth consecutive month to show monthly sales increases for new low-rise homes. Throughout the Greater Toronto Area, there have been over 7,360 year to date sales of new low-rises.
Listed below are some notable sites of last month:
Placing first on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is The Chateaus, a Georgetown community by Fernbrook Homes, which achieved 103 sales in its opening month. The Chateaus features a wide selection of detached homes on 36’, 40’, and 50’ lots, with sizes ranging from 1,720 to 3,552 square feet. Prices at The Chateaus are starting at $554,990.
Coming in second on the Hotlist is an Oakville community by Mattamy Homes called The Preserve, which saw 23 sales last month. The Preserve features townhomes that range in size from 1,036 to 1,995 square feet, with starting prices as low as $349,990. There are also detached homes at The Preserve, which are available on 34’, 38’, 45’, and 50’ lots. These homes range in size from 1,988 to 4,242 square feet, and are priced for as little as $614,990.
Third on Trimart’s Hotlist is Impressions, a Kleinburg community by Fieldgate Homes, which achieved 12 sales last month. Impressions features rear lane townhomes, attached at the garage homes, and detached homes. Lot sizes range from 20’ to 44’, and living spaces fall between 1,696 and 3,600 square feet. The starting price at Impressions is $484,990.
Coming in fourth on this week’s Hotlist with nine sales last month is Birkdale, Monarch’s Scarborough community. Monarch is offering a stunning collection of townhomes at Birkdale, with sizes ranging from 1,881 to 2,301 square feet, and prices starting at $419,990.
Placing fifth on the Hotlist this week is Fieldstone, a Mono community by Brookfield Homes, which saw eight sales last month. A selection of detached homes on 60’ and 70’ lots are available at Fieldstone. Sizes range from 2,400 to 3,550 square feet, and prices are starting at $554,990.
