Trimart: September as Strong as Expected

During the summer, Trimart predicted that September would be an extremely busy month for the new low-rise homes market - and it’s looking like they were right. Many areas of the Greater Toronto Area, such as Bradford and Scarborough, have seen an influx in sales. Trimart is crediting the surge of new low-rise transactions to the high amount of new releases and openings, which is common around this time of year.
Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:
Coming in first on this week’s Trimart report is Mulberry Meadows, an Ajax community by Sundial Homes, which achieved 16 sales in the last month. Mulberry Meadows features detached singles on 30’ lots, urban townhomes, and promenade townhomes. Sizes range from 948 to 2,167 square feet, and prices are starting at $229,990.
Placing second, with 15 sales last month, is Grand Central, a Bradford community by Brookfield Homes. At Grand Central, Brookfield is offering a variety of detached homes on lots ranging from 22’ to 43’, as well as townhomes. The sizes at Grand Central range from 1,146 to 3,174 square feet, and prices are as low as $329,990.
Third place on Trimart’s report is taken by Westminster Woods, a Guelph community by Reid’s Heritage Homes, which also saw 15 sales last month. Westminster Woods features a wide array of home styles, including, detached singles on 30’ and 36’ lots, mid-rise units, two-storey townhomes, urban townhomes. Sizes range from 592 to 2,968 square feet, and prices are starting at just $168,900.
Coming in fourth, with 13 sales last month, is a Caledon community by Monarch called Southfields. Monarch is offering a great selection of homes at Southfields, including detached singles on 43’ and 50’ lots, as well as townhomes. Sizes range from 1,630 to 3,613 square feet, and prices are starting at $374,990.
Placing fifth on Trimart’s report is Upper Unionville, a community in Unionville by Fieldgate Homes, which witnessed 12 sales last month. Upper Unionville features detached homes on 34’, 38’, and 42’ lots, as well as townhomes and semis. Sizes range from 1,668 to 3,357 square feet, and prices can be found as low as $415,990.
