Trimart Report: Low-rise Continues to Thrive

The October stats show that the low-rise market is recovering at a healthy rate. Multiple builders continue to build off the success that they saw in September, proving that market saturation is not an issue just yet.
Listed below are some notable sites for the past month:
First on this week's Hotlist is Wallace Walk, a new home development by Torbel and Somerset Group of Companies. Located at the corner of Dundas St. West and Wallace Ave., in the heart of Toronto, Wallace Walk had 86 sales in its grand opening weekend. Wallace Walk features Urban Townhomes, ranging from 580 to 1,485 square feet, priced from $279,900.
Second this week with 49 sales is Copper Hills South by Greenpark Homes in Newmarket. Located within minutes of an endless amount of family oriented amenities, Copper Hills South features an array of detached homes on 36’, 41’, and 45’ lots, ranging from 2,616 to 3,634 square feet. These homes have a starting price of $593,990.
Third on this week’s Hotlist is Churchill Woods, a development by Starlane Homes. Churchill Woods features 1,915 to 2,310 square foot townhomes, with prices from $529,900. It also features semi-detached homes, ranging from 1,612 to 2,238 square feet, priced for as little as $549,900. Finally, Churchill Woods features detached homes on 38' lots, ranging from 2,110 to 2,728 square feet, priced from $739,900. Located at the corner of Thomas and Tenth Line, Churchill Woods witnessed 45 sales in the past month.
Fourth on the Trimart Hotlist is Salisbury Square, a project by Mattamy Homes. Located in Brampton, just east of the corner of Queen St. West and Chinguacousy Rd., Salisbury Square saw 25 sales in the past month. Salisbury Square is home to Village homes, ranging from 1,031 to 1,351 square feet, priced from $289,990. It also features three-storey townhomes with 1,359 to 1,961 square foot floorplans, priced from $344,990. There are detached homes on both 30’ and 36’ foot lots, ranging in size from 1,337 to 2,263 square feet. The detached homes are priced as low as $399,990.
Fifth on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is Valleylands, a development by Fieldgate Homes. Located in Brampton, Valleylands features a multitude of products, including Link Homes, ranging from 1,565 to 2,108 square feet, priced as low as $409,990, and detached homes on 38' to 70' lots, ranging from 2,010 to 4,323 square feet. Valleylands achieved 12 sales last month.
