Trimart: March Stats Keep Rolling In

Another week, another peek at some low-rise market statistics, thanks to our friends at the Trimart Corporation. This week’s Trimart Hotlist gives us a better view of the first quarter of 2013.

Thus far, 2013 has seen 21 percent of the annual sales forecasted by Trimart - a 5.6 percent increase over 2012. Low-rise supply has also seen an increase in product, with eight months worth of units now on the market. A lot of the success that we have seen in the first quarter is due to the 14 new openings and 12 new releases throughout the market.

The following is a series of new home communities with impressive sales results for March:

Leading off this week's Hotlist is Mount Pleasant North, a development by Mattamy Homes. Located at the corner of Bovaird and Worthington Ave. in Brampton, Mount Pleasant saw 79 sales in the past month. Mount Pleasant features Village Homes, ranging in size from 1,031 to 1,351 square feet, priced as low as $259,990. Mount Pleasant North also features three-storey townhomes, ranging from 1,359 to 1,961 square feet, priced from $299,990, as well as a series of detached homes, on 30' to 45' lots, ranging in size from 1,337 to 3,411 square feet, priced as little as $544,990.

Second on this week’s Hotlist is Grand Central, a development by Brookfield Homes. Located in Bradford, Brookfield has been in high demand over the past month, boasting 22 sales. Grand Central features detached homes on 26' to 43' lots, ranging from 1,350 to 2,060 square feet, with prices starting at $329,990. Grand Central also features townhomes, ranging from 1,390 to 1,670 square feet, priced from $324,990.

Third on the Trimart Hotlist is Impressions in Kleinburg, a project by Fieldgate Homes which had 14 sales last month. Located in Kleinburg, Impressions features rear lane townhomes, sitting on 20' and 28' lofts, ranging in size from 1,954 to 2,289 square feet. Impressions also features detached homes on 30' to 44' lots, ranging in size from 1,811 to 3,600 square feet. Prices at Kleinburg start at $579,990.

Fourth on the Trimart Hotlist is King Meadow, a new Oshawa development by Minto, which achieved 12 sales last month. King Meadows features 1,075 to 1,862 square foot townhomes, priced from $219,990, as well as detached homes on 36' and 43' lots, ranging from 1,676 to 3,502 square feet, priced as little as $383,990.

Fifth on this week’s Hotlist is Greenbrook Village, a new community developed by Lakeview Homes. Greenbrook Village, located in Shelburne, witnessed 13 sales last month. Greenbrook Village features detached homes, sitting on 40' lots, ranging from 860 to 3,240 square feet, and are available for as low as $279,990.
