Trimart: March Numbers Keep Rolling In

The first quarter of 2013 showed excellent results for homebuilders in the Greater Toronto Area. Trimart is reporting that a select group of builders are responsible for over 61 percent of the sales. Mattamy Homes leads that list with 545 sales, followed up by Paradise Homes with 165 sales. Other leaders include Fieldgate Homes with 150 sales, Ballantry Homes with 138, and Great Gulf with 126.
The following is a list of some successful projects within the GTA for the month of March.
Leading off this week’s Trimart Hotlist with 51 sales is Mattamy Homes’ The Preserve in Oakville. The Preserve features townhomes, ranging in size from 1,036 to 1,995 square feet, with prices starting from $349,990, as well as detached homes on 34' to 50' lots, ranging from 1,988 to 4,242 square feet, priced from $889,990.
Coming in second is Pathways, a development by Brookfield Homes, with 16 sales. Pathways features detached homes on 50' to 70' lots, sized from 1,960 to 4,080 square feet, with starting prices at $594,990. Pathways also features townhomes on 23' lots, priced from $377,990. Located in Caledon, Pathways sits at the corner of Old Church Rd. and Innis Lake Rd.
Third on this week’s Hotlist is Westminster Woods, a development by Reid’s Heritage Homes, which achieved 16 sales in March. Westminster Woods features detached homes on 30' and 36' lots, with units ranging from 1,496 to 2,968 square feet, and prices are starting at $375,900. Westminster Woods also features two-storey and urban townhomes, ranging from 1,231 to 1,653 square feet, which are priced from $259,900.
Fourth on this week's Hotlist, with 15 sales in March, is Impressions, a new Kleinburg development by Arista Homes. Impressions is home to a series of rear lane townhomes on 20' to 28' lots, ranging in size from 1,477 to 2,226 square feet, priced as low as $459,990, as well as semi-detached homes on 28' lots, priced from $559,990. Impressions also features a series of detached homes on 30' to 44' lots, ranging from 2,043 to 3,788 square feet, with prices starting at $609,990.
Fifth on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is ValleyLands, a development by Fieldgate Homes. Located in Brampton, Valleylands features a multitude of products, including Link Homes, ranging from 1,565 to 2,108 square feet, priced as low as $409,990, and detached homes on 38' to 70' lots, ranging from 1,565 to 4,323 square feet. ValleyLands saw 14 sales last March.
