Trimart: Low-Rise Sales Show Strength Through Summer

According to Trimart, despite the seasonally slow traffic, July’s new low-rise sales numbers remained strong throughout the course of the month. Affordable pricing plans offered by homebuilders on new openings and new releases are credited for the maintenance of steady sales. With 2,049 sales, Brampton is currently the most popular city in the Total Market Area.
Listed below are a few notable sites for the month of July:
Placing first on this week’s Trimart report is Wildflowers, a Kitchener community by Mattamy Homes, which achieved 24 sales in July. Wildflowers features detached homes on 30’, 36’, and 43’ lots, as well as townhomes. Sizes range from 1,263 to 3,164 square feet, and prices are starting at $256,990.
Second on this week’s Trimart report, with 10 sales, is Brookfield Homes’ Fieldstone community in Mono. At Fieldstone, Brookfield is offering detached homes on spacious 60’ and 70’ lots, with living spaces ranging from 2,400 to 3,550 square feet. Prices at Fieldstone are starting at $554,990.
Coming in third, also with 10 sales, is Fernbrook Homes’ Oakville community, Waterlilies. Fernbrook is featuring beautiful urban townhomes at Waterlilies, which range in size from 855 to 1,096 square feet. Prices are as low as $309,900.
Fourth on this week’s Trimart Report is Westminster Woods, a Guelph community by Reid’s Heritage Homes, which achieved nine sales in July. A wide array of homes are being offered at Westminster Woods, including detached homes on 30’ and 36’ lots, townhomes, and mid-rise units. The sizes of the homes at Westminster Woods range from 592 to 2,968 square feet, and prices are starting at $168,900.
Placing fifth this week, also with nine sales, is Landscapes by Tribute Communities in Brampton. At Landscapes, Tribute is offering a collection of semi-detached homes and townhomes. The size of the living spaces ranges from 1,344 to 3,527 square feet. Prices can be found as low as $340,990.
