Trimart: Low-Rise Sales up in September

Trimart Research Corporation is still waiting on a few more new low-rise sales numbers to trickle in for September, but so far, the month is on track to be the best selling of 2013. Affordable, attractive pricing and tempting incentives are being credited for September’s success. New Urban Townhomes were a hot ticket item throughout the fall, and there are still a few great site openings and new releases planned for the coming month.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Coming in first place on this week’s Trimart report is The Chateaus, a Georgetown community by Fernbrook Homes, which achieved 20 sales last month. The Chateaus features single detached homes on 40’ and 50’ lots. The homes range from 1,286 to 3,552 square feet and prices start at $539,990.
Placing second with 18 sales last month is Valleylands, a Fieldgate Homes community in Brampton, which just had a new release! Valleylands features link homes and a wide variety of single detached homes on lots ranging from 38 ‘ to 70’. The homes range from 1,565 to 4,323 square feet and prices start at $409,990.
Third place is taken by Churchill Woods, a Mississauga community by Greenpark Homes, which saw 14 sales last month. Churchill Woods offers semi-detached homes ranging from 1,586 to 2,135 square feet. Prices are as low as $498,990.
Coming in fourth with 10 sales is another Mississauga community, Hot Condos by Great Gulf Homes. Hot Condos features urban townhomes ranging from 621 to 1,215 square feet. Prices start at $277,990.
Taking the fifth spot on this week’s Trimart Report is Westminster Woods, a Guelph community by Reid’s Heritage Homes that saw nine sales last month. Westminster Woods features a great selection of home types, including detached homes on 30’ and 36’ lots, two-storey townhomes, urban townhomes, and even mid-rise units. Sizes range from 592 to 2,968 square feet, and the starting price is just $168,900.
