Trimart: New Low-Rise Market Sees Big Sales Gains

Trimart Research Corporation is reporting some big numbers for the new low-rise market this week. According to Trimart’s findings, the Central and East regions of the GTA have experienced 99.5% and 94.9% sales gains, respectively, compared to the same time last year. This is also the fifth consecutive month that year over year sales in the Total Market Area have continued its upward trend. This year and leading into next, you can expect builders to be releasing more new urban townhomes with some attractive incentives!
Listed below are a few notable sites of October:
Coming in first this week with 61 sales last October is Kettle Lakes Club, a Richmond Hill community by Aspen Ridge Homes. Kettle Lakes Club features a wide selection of townhomes ranging from 1,640 to 2,057 square feet. Prices are as low as $539,990.
Second place on this week’s Trimart report is Valleylands, a Fieldgate Homes community in Brampton, which saw 23 sales. At Valleylands, Fieldgate is offering detached homes on lots ranging from 38’ to 70’, as well as link homes. The homes span from 1,565 to 4,323 square feet, and prices start at $409,990.
Placing third is Greenpark’s Valleylands community in Brampton, which achieved 16 sales in October. Greenpark’s collection features detached homes on 38’ and 41’ lots and semis. The homes range from 1,806 to 2,806 square feet, and prices start at just $419,990.
With 13 sales, fourth place is held by St. John’s Forest, one of Mattamy Homes’ communities in Aurora. St. John’s Forest offers detached homes on 30’ and 36’ lots and townhomes ranging from 1,675 to 2,564 square feet. Pricing can be found as low as $469,990.
Coming in fifth with 10 sales in October is Fernbrook Homes’ luxury community in Oakville, Royal Oakville Club (ROC). With prices starting at $1.1 million, ROC features high quality detached homes on 40’, 50’, 55’, and 60’ lots, as well as a stunning collection of townhomes. Sizes reach up to 4,559 square feet.
Sixth place on the Trimart report is taken by Park Ridge, an Oshawa development by Tribute Communities that also saw 10 sales. Park Ridge features detached homes on 36’, 40’, and 50’ lots. The homes range from 1,863 to 3,471 square feet and prices start at $329,990.
