Trimart: Low-Rise Industry on Track Through June

Trimart is reporting some impressive numbers for June 2013. According to Trimart’s report, June showed a record breaking increase in inventory, as well as a 35% surge on year over year new low-rise sales. The Total Market Area raked in 1,721 sales in June, the third highest in the last six years. The first half of 2013 ended promisingly with 50.5% of the annual Trimart Forecast achieved.

Listed below are a few notable sites for June:

Placing first on Trimart’s June report with 57 sales is Mount Pleasant North, a Brampton community by Mattamy Homes. Mount Pleasant North features detached homes on 30’, 36’, 38’, and 45’ lots, as well as village homes, urban townhomes, and three-storey townhomes. The sizes range from 1,031 to 3,411 square feet and prices start at $259,990.

Coming in second is Grand Central by Brookfield Homes with 12 sales. Located in Bradford, Grand Central offers townhomes and a selection of detached homes on lots ranging in size from 22’ to 43’. The square footage of the homes ranges from 1,146 to 3,174. Prices are starting at $324,990.

Third place is taken by Southfields, a Monarch community in Caledon, which also achieved 12 sales in June. Southfields features detached homes on 43’ and 50’ lots, as well as townhomes. Sizes range from 1,630 to 3,613 square feet, and prices are as low as $374,990.

Placing fourth on Trimart’s list with 11 sales is Mulberry Meadows, an Ajax community by Sundial Homes. Mulberry Meadows offers detached homes on 30’ lots, urban townhomes, and promenade townhomes, with sizes ranging from 948 to 2,167 square feet. Prices are starting at $229,990.

Fifth place is taken by Valleylands, Greenpark’s Brampton community, which also saw 11 sales in June. Valleylands features detached homes on 38’ and 41’ lots, and semi-detached homes. Sizes at Valleylands range from 1,708 to 3,236 square feet, and prices are starting at $414,990.
