Trimart Hotlist: The First Quarter is Looking Good

Winter is over, temperatures are starting to rise, and potential homebuyers are awakening from hibernation. March and April are when people start paying attention to new releases. Trimart is reporting a solid start for the first quarter of Greater Toronto area low-rise sales, with 3,699 sales, which is up 5.6 percent over 2012.
The following is a series of new home communities with impressive sales results for March:
Leading off this Trimart Hotlist is Oak Park, Ballantry's latest low-rise community. Located just west of Dundas St. East and Trafalgar Rd. in Oakville, Oak Park features Urban Towns, ranging from 629 to 1,101 square feet, priced for as little as $238,990. Oak Park witnessed an impressive 95 sales in its opening month.
Second on the Trimart Hotlist is Wildflowers, a Kitchener based community by Mattamy Homes. At the corner of Huron Rd. and Fischer Hallman Rd., Mattamy is offering a series of townhomes, ranging in size from 1,263 to 1,783 square feet, with prices starting at $256,990. Wildflowers also features detached homes on 30' to 43' lots, ranging from 1,284 to 3,164 square feet. Wildflowers saw a total of 37 sales in March.
Third on the Trimart Hotlist is Heroes Pointe, a new community by Luvian Homes. Heroes Pointe had some great success in its Grand Opening month, with 23 sales. Located in the heart of Ajax, Heroes Pointe features a series of detached homes, ranging from 1,648 to 2,404 square feet. Prices at Heroes Pointe start at $425,990.
Fourth on the Hotlist is Southshore, a new low-rise community in Toronto by Minto. Located northwest of Lake Shore Blvd. West and Kipling Ave., Southshore features Urban Townhomes, ranging in size from 944 to 1,041 square feet, priced from $355,900. Southshore also features townhomes, ranging in size from 1,041 to 1,612 square feet, for as little as $357,900. Minto's Southshore saw 14 sales last March.
Finishing off the Trimart Hotlist is Esquire Homes' Three 7. Located in Scarborough, Esquire Homes’ Three 7 obtained eight sales in March. Three 7 features 653 to 1,245 square foot Urban Towns, priced at a very affordable $209,990.
