Trimart: The Fourth Quarter of 2013 Starts Strong

Trimart Research Corporation’s latest report is declaring a strong start for new low-rise sales for the fourth quarter! October saw a 51.3% sales increase compared to September 2013, and a 22.2% increase compared to October 2012. November sales numbers are also strong on account of the high number of new openings and releases throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The top selling city is Brampton with 3,386 year-to-date (YTD) sales. Oakville is in second with 1,183 sales, and Toronto is in third with 1,074 sales.
Listed below are a few notable sites for the last month:
Placing first this week on the Trimart report is Towns of Don Mills, a Toronto community by Windfield Residential, which achieved 67 sales in its opening month. Towns of Don Mills features townhomes ranging from 1,015 to 1,716 square feet. Prices are starting at $389,990.
Second place is taken by Mount Pleasant North/Village, a Brampton community by Mattamy Homes that saw 62 sales last month. Mount Pleasant offers a wide selection of homes, including Village homes, three-storey townhomes, and detached singles on 30’, 36’, and 38’ lots. The homes range from 612 to 2,808 square feet and prices start at $202,990.
Coming in third with 49 sales in its opening month is U.C. by Tribute Communities. Located in Oshawa, U.C. offers detached singles on 30’, 36’, and 40’ lots, as well as semis. The homes range from 1,444 to 5,578 square feet and prices start as low as $297,990.
Placing fourth is Brook Hill, a Bowmanville community by Brookfield Homes, which achieved 12 sales last month. Brook Hill features detached homes ranging from 1,561 to 3,279 square feet that are available on 32’, 38’, and 42’ lots. Prices are starting at just $334,990.
Fifth place is taken by another Brampton community, Quails Hollow by Greenpark Homes, which saw 11 sales last month. Quails Hollow features detached singles on 38’ lots and semis. The homes range from 1,531 to 2,932 square feet, and prices are starting at $423,990.
Once again, we have a sixth place position on the Trimart report, which is filled by Orchard Park, Minto’s Stouffville community that saw 10 sales last month. Orchard Park offers townhomes, Urban townhomes, and Terrace townhomes, ranging from 1,256 to 1,879 square feet. Prices are as low as $339,990.
