Trimart: A Favourable Projection for Summer

Trimart Research Corporation is projecting a successful new low-rise housing market for summer 2013. The projections are based on the strong first quarter of over 3,700 sales, and a very strong April with 1,826 sales. Also, there are some highly anticipated openings planned for summer 2013, so we should see sales continuing to climb.

Listed below are some notable sites for the month of April:

Leading off this week’s Trimart Hotlist is Mount Pleasant North, a development by Mattamy Homes. Located at the corner of Bovaird and Worthington Ave. in Brampton, Mount Pleasant saw 74 sales in the month of April. Mount Pleasant features Village Homes, ranging in size from 1,031 to 1,351 square feet, priced as low as $259,990. Mount Pleasant North also features three-storey townhomes, ranging from 1,359 to 1,961 square feet, priced from $299,990, as well as a series of detached homes on 30' to 45' lots, ranging in size from 1,337 to 3,411 square feet, priced for as little as $544,990.

Second on the Trimart Hotlist is Park Ridge, a development by Tribute Communities. Located at the corner of Grandview and Taunton, Park Ridge witnessed 24 sales this month. Park Ridge features detached homes on 34', 40', and 50' lots, ranging in size from 1,863 to 3,471 square feet. Prices at Park Ridge start at $349,990.

Third on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is ValleyLands, a development by Fieldgate Homes. Located in Brampton, ValleyLands features Link Homes, ranging from 1,565 to 2,108 square feet, priced as low as $409,990, and detached homes on 38' to 70' lots, ranging from 1,565 to 4,323 square feet. ValleyLands made 14 sales in April.

Fourth on this week’s Hotlist is Westminster Woods, a development by Reid’s Heritage Homes, which achieved 17 sales in April. Westminster Woods features detached homes on 30' and 36' lots, with units ranging from 1,496 to 2,968 square feet, and prices are starting at $375,900. Westminster Woods also features two-storey and urban townhomes, ranging from 1,231 to 1,653 square feet, which are priced from $259,900.

Fifth on this week’s Trimart Hotlist, with a total of 14 sales, is Mulberry Meadows by Sundial Homes. Located in Ajax, Mulberry Meadows features urban towns, ranging from 948 to 1,805 square feet, with prices starting at $229,990. Also available, are promenade towns, ranging from 1,406 to 2,167 square feet, priced as low as $276,990. They also feature detached homes on 30’ lots, ranging from 1,195 to 2,052 square feet, and they are starting at $316,990.
