Trimart: Detached Homes Still the Hottest

Thanks to aggressive marketing and attractive incentives, new site openings in the Total Market Area’s new low-rise market continue to be successful, says Trimart Research Corporation. Throughout March, there were over 30 new openings and releases. Even with this amount of new product, homebuyers are experiencing a lack of inventory. Trimart is predicting that this activity will continue through spring, with inventory growing gradually over the coming months.
Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:
Coming in first place on Trimart’s weekly report is The Arbors, a Brookfield Homes community in Aurora that saw a tremendous 82 sales in its opening month. The Arbors features 30’, 36’, and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,530 to 2,940 square feet. Prices start as low as $564,990.
Second place is taken by Kingmeadow, Minto’s Oshawa community, which saw 39 sales last month. At Kingmeadow, Minto is offering a collection of townhomes, as well as 36’ and 43’ detached homes. The homes range from 1,068 to 3,502 square feet and prices can be found as low as $229,990.
Taking the third spot with 35 sales last month is Valleylands, a Brampton community by Fieldgate Homes. Valleylands features link homes and an extensive selection of detached homes on lots ranging up to 70’. The homes range from 1,565 to 4,323 square feet and are priced as low as $409,990.
Coming fourth with 23 sales last month we have another Oshawa community; U.C. by Tribute Communities. U.C. has a wide variety of 30’, 36’, and 40’ detached homes, as well as a collection of semis. The homes range from 1,444 to 5,578 square feet and prices start at $297,990.
Placing fifth is The Chateaus, Fernbrook Homes’ Georgetown community, which saw 12 sales last month. The Chateaus features 36’ and 40’ detached homes ranging from 1,286 to 3,086 square feet. Prices are starting at $549,990.
Coming in sixth, also with 12 sales last month, is Vales of Humber, one of Starlane Homes’ Brampton communities. Vales of Humber offers luxury 47’, 65’, and 75’ detached homes, ranging from 2,670 to 5,940 square feet. Prices start at $641,900 and reach over $1 million.
