Trimart: More May Numbers Coming In

As the numbers for May roll in, we continue to see ups and downs. Some sites are seeing lower than normal traffic and sales, while others continue to thrive. According to Trimart Research Corporation, the total market area sales are up 2.1 percent, against April, achieving a total of 1,847 new low-rise sales. This is the highest monthly sales recorded so far this year, and the fifth consecutive month that the sales have increased compared to the previous month.
Listed below are some notable sites for May:
Leading off this week’s Trimart Hotlist is Hazelton Place, a new project by The Daniels Corporation. Hazelton Place, located at the corner of Winston Churchill Blvd. and Hazelton Place in Mississauga, features urban townhomes, ranging from 580 to 1,305 square feet, priced for as low as $243,990. Hazelton Place had a successful opening month with 74 sales.
Second on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is Mount Pleasant North, a development by Mattamy Homes. Located at the corner of Bovaird and Worthington Ave. in Brampton, Mount Pleasant saw 66 sales in the month of May. Mount Pleasant features Village Homes, ranging in size from 1,031 to 1,351 square feet, priced as low as $259,990. Mount Pleasant North also features three-storey townhomes, ranging from 1,359 to 1,961 square feet, priced from $299,990, as well as a series of detached homes on 30' to 45' lots, ranging in size from 1,337 to 3,411 square feet, priced for as little as $544,990.
Third on this week’s Trimart Hotlist is Valleylands, a development by Fieldgate Homes. Located in Brampton, Valleylands features a multitude of products, including Link Homes, ranging from 1,565 to 2,108 square feet, priced as low as $409,990. Valleylands also features detached homes on 38' to 70' lots, ranging from 1,565 to 4,323 square feet. Valleylands saw 27 sales in the month of May.
Fourth on the Hotlist is Baker Street, a new project by Royalpark Homes. Located on Hopewell Ave. in Toronto, Baker Street had 14 sales in May. Baker Street offers a series of urban townhomes ranging in size from 426 to 1,175 square feet, priced for as little as $239,990.
Fifth on the Trimart Hotlist is The Pavilion, a new project by Sundial Homes, with nine sales in May. Located at the corner of Goreway Dr. and Jacksonville Dr. in Brampton, The Pavilion features detached homes on 85' lots, ranging in size from 4,612 to 7,062 square feet. Prices at The Pavilion start at $1,100,000.
