Trimart: Brampton Still on Top!

As of the end of September 2013, Trimart has recorded 13,295 year-to-date (YTD) new low-rise sales for the Total Market Area (TMA). Brampton remains the busiest city in the TMA with 2,902 YTD sales. Oakville is in a distant second with 966 sales, and Toronto is trailing in third with 658 sales. As anticipated, September proved to be one of the best selling months of 2013 for the new low-rise market. There were over 36 new releases and new openings!
Listed below are a few notable sites for the last month:
Taking first place on this week’s Trimart report is The Preserve, an Oakville community by Remington Homes, which saw 109 sales in its opening month! The Preserve features detached homes on 34’ lots and townhomes ranging from 1,996 to 2,460 square feet. Prices start at $533,990.
Coming in second with 78 sales last month is Mount Pleasant North by Mattamy Homes. This Brampton community features detached singles on 30’, 36’, and 38’ lots, as well as village homes and three-storey townhomes. Sizes range from 612 to 2,808 square feet, and prices can be found as low as $202,990.
Third place is held by Park Towns, a Toronto development by Broccolini that saw 50 sales during opening month. Park Towns features urban townhomes ranging from 520 to 1,240 square feet. Prices start at $210,400.
Placing fourth with 22 sales is Springvalley Village, another Brampton community by Royal Pine Homes. Springvalley Village offers an array of detached singles on 38’, 40’, 46’, and 50’ lots, as well as three-storey townhomes. Sizes range from 1,615 to 4,560 square feet, and prices start at $408,990.
Taking fifth place on this week’s Trimart report with 21 sales last month is Varley, Tribute Communities’ Unionville development. Varley features urban townhomes ranging from 649 to 2,471 square feet. Prices are starting at just $412,990.
