Trimart: Brampton Still Leads in New Low-Rise Sales

According to Trimart Research Corporation’s recent report, new low-rises should continue to sell steadily through the summer.The amount of new housing hitting the market isn’t quite as dramatic as it was during the spring, but that’s expected during this traditionally quieter time of the year. So far this year, Brampton is leading with 2,206 new low-rise sales. Milton is in a distant second with 844 sales and Oshawa is in third with 470 sales.
Listed below are a few notable sites of the last month:
Willow Glen - via Brookfield Homes
Topping this week’s Trimart report is Willow Glen, a Tottenham community by Brookfield Homes that saw 16 sales. Willow Glen features townhomes and 30’, 36’, and 43’ detached homes, ranging from 1,290 to 2,920 square feet. Prices start from just $292,990.
The Preserve - via Mattamy Homes
Tying for the top position this week is The Preserve by Mattamy Homes. Located in Oakville, The Preserve offers 50’, 66’, and 90’ detached homes, ranging from 2,877 to 5,453 square feet. Prices start at $899,990 and range to more than $1 million.
Friday Harbour - via Geranium Homes
The third spot is taken by Geranium Homes’ Barrie community, Friday Harbour, which recently had 14 sales. Friday Harbour features urban, Marina, and Island townhomes, ranging from 433 to 4,601 square feet. The homes start at $249,900 and range to more than $1 million.
Quail's Hollow - via Greenpark
Coming in fourth with 13 sales is Greenpark’s Brampton project, Quail’s Hollow. The available homes at the community are semis ranging from 1,674 to 2,150 square feet. Prices start from $454,990.
Kleinburg Crown Estates - via Monarch
Fifth place is taken by Kleinburg Crown Estates, community by Monarch. With 11 sales recently, the community now features 42’ and 50’ detached homes, with sizes ranging from 2,351 to 4,486 square feet. Prices can be found as low as $855,990.
Orchard Park - via Minto
Taking the sixth spot with 10 sales is Minto’s Orchard Park project in Stouffville. Orchard Park offers urban and terrace townhomes, ranging from 1,256 to 1,879 square feet with prices starting at $339,990.
