Trimart: Brampton Continues to Outshine in New Low-Rise Sector

According to Trimart Research Corporation’s latest report, the Total Market Area has achieved 11,716 new year-to-date (YTD) low-rise sales as of the end of August. Brampton is currently in first place with 2,569 YTD sales, Oakville is in second with 759 sales, and Kleinburg is in third with 586 sales. As stated in earlier Trimart reports, September has been a very busy month, and may prove to be the busiest of the entire year.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites for the last month:
Placing first on this week’s Trimart report is Valleylands, a Brampton community by Fieldgate Homes, which saw 19 sales last month. Valleylands features detached homes with lots ranging from 38’ to 70’, as well as link homes. Sizes span from 1,565 to 4,323 square feet, and prices start at $409,990.
Coming in a close second, with 18 sales is Mattamy Homes’ Kitchener community, Wildflowers. Mattamy Homes is offering detached homes on 30’, 36’, and 43’ lots, as well as townhomes. Sizes range from 1,263 to 3,164 square feet, and prices are as low as $256,990.
The Chateaus by Fernbrook also witnessed 18 sales last month. Located in Georgetown, The Chateaus features detached homes on 40’ and 50’ lots, with prices starting at $539,990.
Placing fourth this week, with 12 sales last month is Kingmeadow, an Oshawa community by Minto. Kingmeadow features detached homes on 36’ and 43’ lots, and a great selection of townhomes. Sizes range from 1,068 to 3,502 square feet, and prices are starting at $223,990.
Coming fifth on this week’s Trimart report, with 11 sales, is Greenpark Homes’ Valleylands in Brampton. Valleylands features detached homes on 38’ and 41’ lots, and a collection of semi-detached homes. The sizes range from 1,708 to 3,236 square feet, and prices are starting at just $414,990.
