Tridel to Alter Urban Living in Toronto’s Garden District
By Lucas on May 06, 2014
Anyone involved in the new home industry and real estate in general has already heard of Tridel’s new Toronto condo, Alter. With such slick branding and a recently released rendering, Alter has been the talk of the town!
Just last week, Tridel released more information about Alter via the Tridel Talks blog. Alter will stand 33 storeys and boast a unique design by the award-winning firm architectsAlliance. There will be 333 suites available when Alter launches later this spring. Local design firm Union 31 is responsible for the stylish interiors.
Tridel also released a few behind-the-scenes photos of their team putting together the marketing material and capturing the essence of life at Alter.
Living in the Garden District
Located at Church and Carlton in Toronto’s Garden District, Alter is the perfect condo for a “Toronto-loving, young, cool, active (in the gym or in the bar), professional.”
Newinhomes.com featured the Garden District in our Walkability series last month, and the area received a Walk Score of 97. If you type in the exact corner from which Alter will rise, the Walk Score is a perfect 100!
The Transit Score is also 100 thanks to the streetcar lines on College/Carlton, Dundas, and another on Queen. And for north-south travel, the Yonge Subway line is only a few steps away. The Garden District is also great for cyclists because of the dedicated bike lane on Sherbourne, which runs from Front all the way to Bloor.
Put simply, sell the car and buy at Alter!
