By Lucas on Mar 31, 2014
This spring - One Park Place South Tower by The Daniels Corporation is coming to Regent Park in Toronto!
Already under construction, this is the fifth residential building of Daniels’ inspirational Regent Park revitalization. One Park Place South Tower will stand 29 storeys, making it the development’s tallest building to date.
The demand to live, work, and play in Daniels’ revitalized Regent Park grows stronger with every phase. It’s not very common to have a building already under construction before it hits the market, but Daniels is doing it, and we’re positive that One Park Place South Tower will be just as successful that the highly regarded One Park Place North Tower.
It’s pretty obvious why One Park Place South Tower is so desirable, but Daniels created this Top 10 list just in case you’re new to the Regent Park revitalization:
From Daniels
1. Location. One Park Place South Tower will be situated at Dundas and Sumach Streets, and will be anchored by a collection of 17 urban townhomes lining St. David’s Street and Sumach Streets. The condominium’s lobby entrance is directly off Regent Park’s Urban Mews, Regent Park Boulevard, where neighbours and visitors gather for local festivals, markets and performances – placing homeowners right in the middle of the action in this energetic neighbourhood. The Urban Mews also leads to Daniels Spectrum, the 60,000 square-foot cultural hub that is alive with opportunities for dance, music, theatre and film. Paintbox Bistro, a popular area hotspot with live entertainment and the culinary creations of renowned Toronto Chef, Chris Klugman, is just steps away. At the pulsing heart of Regent Park, the Urban Mews connects many of Toronto’s hottest new amenities. Residents can stroll to the soon-to-open 6-acre park on Dundas Street, the Regional Aquatic Centre, shopping, restaurants and the TTC.
One Park Place South Tower is steps to FreshCo by Sobeys, Rogers, RBC Royal Bank, Tim Hortons and public transit right on Dundas Street East. Regent Park is just minutes from Cabbagetown, the Distillery District, the St. Lawrence Market, Yonge-Dundas Square and all the attractions of downtown Toronto. Does it get any better than that? YES!
2. Outstanding architecture and breathtaking views. One Park Place South Tower is designed to make the most of its location and height with a combination of delicately supported white cladding and spandrel glass. Suite owners will be treated to ever-changing views of Toronto’s skyline or Lake Ontario through expansive windows that invite copious amounts of natural light to fill the beautiful living spaces.
3. CLUB UNO. One Park Place South Tower will be home to over 45,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor relaxation, exercise and social amenities at CLUB UNO. These include a half-court gymnasium, two squash courts, a fitness studio, indoor/outdoor yoga and Pilates studio, a party room, billiards room, lounges and more.
4. Environmentally friendly design. Daniels is a trailblazer in the building industry and an advocate for actively incorporating urban agriculture opportunities into their new home communities across the GTA. There will be resident gardening plots on the fifth-floor gardening terrace where homeowners can grow their own herbs, flowers and spices. Urban gardening plays a key role in bringing homeowners together to foster a sense of community. Daniels will offer programming that helps residents make the most of their amenities. Much like its sister tower, One Park Place South Tower is being built to the LEED® Gold Certification Standard, offering an array of future-proofed elements such as bicycle storage and energized parking spaces for electrified cars. Several green roofs serve as both a visual and physical amenity for residents; while helping to mitigate Toronto’s heat island effect.
5. Flexible suite designs. Suite layouts maximize every square foot, and urban interior finishes include European-style stainless steel kitchen appliances, contemporary quartz countertops, laminate flooring throughout and spectacular kitchen and bathroom designs by award-winning Cecconi Simone Inc.
6. Unbeatable value. Prices will start from an incredible $199,900, with suites at One Park Place South Tower ranging from studios to three-bedroom designs plus a limited collection of urban townhomes.
