The Urban Townhome Collection is steps away from the new Yorkville Village!

The Toronto Star recently reported that Hazelton Lanes in Yorkville is receiving a huge facelift, which will surely benefit all future neighbourhood residents.
$125 million has been dedicated to the mall’s redevelopment, as part of a $400 million investment that First Capital Realty Inc. is making in the neighbourhood where they own many buildings. It’s not just the building that’s getting a makeover; when the renovations are complete, the mall will be renamed Yorkville Village.
Some of the major changes that are being made include the installment of skylights, and the anchor tenant, Whole Foods, will be expanding. There is also a brand new food hall currently under construction where the indoor skating rink was located.
One other big addition is an actual entrance on Yorkville Avenue! The mall is open during construction but the Yorkville Avenue entrance won’t be open until this summer, along with 25 retailers, featuring both independent boutiques and high fashion brands.
Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam, Ward 27, Toronto Centre-Rosedale, said in the Star article, “In the next decade or so Yorkville is going to be one of the most attractive neighbourhoods in Canada and it’s going to meet a whole new standard.”
