The Sutton Collection is the first luxury option in Regent Park
By Lucas on Sep 06, 2016
It’s happening - Regent Park in Toronto will soon be home to new luxury low-rise homes thanks to The Daniels Corporation and The Sutton Collection.
As you may be aware, Daniels’ Regent Park revitalization has been a tremendous success. The multi-phase master-plan is transforming this east end Toronto neighbourhood into a family-friendly, tight knit community. For the most part, the new residential consists of condo units in high-rise and mid-rise buildings, but The Sutton Collection is something different.
The Sutton Collection is an exclusive selection of luxury townhomes and semis, boasting modern designs and high-end features and finishes. The three- and four-bedroom homes have finished lower levels, privates garages, rooftop terraces, and the semis also have private yards and balconies off the kitchen.
The exteriors have a mix of contrasting brick colours and clean, light coloured segments. The sharp geometric design, large windows, and outdoor space, will really complement this part of Regent Park. There are so many beautiful brick homes along Sumach Street and Sackville Street, so we think Daniels’ Sutton Collection will make a strong impact on the streetscape without detracting from the area’s timelessness.
Other new residential buildings in Regent Park - the Park Place towers, The Bartholomew, and The Wyatt - have more options for young working professionals and first-time buyers. Daniels really does a great job at helping first-time buyers get into the market with their First Home BOOST program and Gradual Deposit Payment Plan.
The Sutton Collection is Regent Park’s first luxury option, appealing more to families and established professionals looking to live really close to the downtown core. According to Daniels’ siteplan for the revitalization project, there is still a lot of development in the works, so this is a great opportunity to jump on the first super high-end offering.
Located near Sackville and Shuter, steps from the new Athletic Grounds and Nelson Mandela Public School, The Sutton Collection is situated in the southernmost part of Regent Park. Queen Street East is only a stroll away, which means you have quick and easy access to the 24-hour streetcar. Downtown is within walking distance if it’s a nice day, but the streetcar can get you right into the core in no time.
One of the best things about Regent Park, aside from all of the work that Daniels has been doing, is that the community is surrounded by so many other amazing Toronto areas. The Distillery District and St. Lawrence Market, Financial District, Cabbagetown, Leslieville, Riverside, and Corktown will be your neighbours.
