The Richlands opening last weekend was a huge success!

When an award-winning new home community announces a new release, people take notice, so we headed up to Richmond Hill last weekend to get a closer look at the action at Richlands.
In 2018, Richlands by Arista Homes, DECO Homes, Fieldgate Homes, and OPUS Homes, won the Project of the Year Award at the annual Building Industry and Land Development Awards. This is one of the most prestigious awards in the Greater Toronto Area’s new home building industry.
So, when the builders announced a new release, families were quick to register. The new release features freehold townhomes, semis, and 36’ and 43’ detached homes. The wide range of floor plans and housing types attracted a large crowd! We think the timing was perfect too because the end of October and early November typically mark the final weekends for new home openings in the GTA (there’s an opening at New Kleinburg this weekend!).
When we pulled up at Richlands, there were only a few parking spots left. Each builder had a good sized line outside their respective presentation centres. The doors opened at 11 am, and it looked like some people were sitting down right away to buy. The builders put the Agreements, site plan, and floor plans online before the opening, so some people came prepared.
As the day progressed, it was common to see some buyers leaving a sales centre and joining another line to see what another builder had to offer. All the prices are basically the same across the board, but each builder’s floor plans and elevations vary slightly, so it made sense to consider all options.
When a new home community has won an award like BILD’s Project of the Year, and there are four highly regarded builders working together, the decision to buy is a no brainer. Plus, the location at Leslie and Elgin Mills is incredible - you’re surrounded by everything your family needs on a daily basis, like schools, shopping, restaurants, parks, and much more!
Visit Richlands in Richmond Hill as soon as possible
