The preview opening of the Tower at Pier 27 is coming soon!

One condo development that we’ve kept a close eye on over the last few years is Pier 27 by Cityzen and Fernbrook Homes; partially because we’ve been watching construction from our office windows, but also because it’s a very exciting development for Toronto’s waterfront!
Last week, many interested buyers lined up for the VIP opening to learn more about the exciting development. Of course, we took the opportunity to pop in and check it out!

The signature glass bridge connecting the building in the first phase of the development looks stunning from our view on the 15th floor of 1 Yonge. Now we’re ready to watch The Tower at Pier 27 rise from the site!
Designed by Peter Clewes, The Tower at Pier 27 will boast an angular facade that will surely emphasize Toronto’s waterfront skyline. Clewes spent five years on the Waterfront Toronto Design Review Panel and was the architect behind the first phase of Pier 27, so if anyone knows what design suits our city’s waterfront best, it’s him!
The Podium Collection at The Tower at Pier 27 features one- and two-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 529 to 945 square feet on floors two to nine. The Tower Collection offers a wide range of suites, spanning from one-bedroom to three+den suites, ranging from 481 to 1,249 square feet. These suites go up to floor 34.
The suites offer luxurious features and finishes that you would expect from a waterfront address, including sprawling windows, granite and marble countertops, hardwood flooring, and designer kitchen cabinetry.

Cityzen and Fernbrook really went all out when it comes to the amenities at The Tower at Pier 27. The fitness facility has been custom programmed with Movement Haus by Benchmark Group, featuring a yoga studio, free weights area, and more. The equipment and facilities cater to everyone from gym newbies to hardcore athletes. There will be a variety of services available, such as personal training, nutrition coaching, group classes, and even cooking classes!
Other amenities at The Tower at Pier 27 include a rooftop pool surrounded by a sun deck, a games and billiards room, a home theatre, a social lounge, party room, library, and an executive meeting room.

One amenity that really stands out is the full service concierge. The majority of new condo buildings in Toronto offer concierge services, but in most cases, this means you have front door security of some sort and someone who manages the amenity spaces. Rarely is the concierge a concierge in the traditional sense where they will help arrange dining plans for you, order car service, and assist with daily errands.
