As soon as the new year begins, it isn’t long before awards season gets underway. But before we look back on celebs’ cinematic and musical achievements, we can’t forget those who delved into homedecor this year.

Long before MTV Cribs gave us a glimpse inside the bathrooms and refrigerators of famous celebrities, there was a longing to get a peek inside celebrity homes. Moreover, estate sales over the years have shown that there has always been a strong desire to own a piece of star-approved homeware, not only getting inside celebrity homes, but bringing them back into our own spaces.

But beyond the glamour and intimacy, the coolest part of celebrity decor is seeing where your own style intersects with theirs, proving that celebrities aren’t so different from us at all.

1) Catherine Zeta Jones

When the Oscar winner began designing concepts for her QVC-collaboration, Casa Zeta-Jones, she drew heavily from her Welsh heritage. Still, there are traces of Old Hollywood throughout the collection. The diverse sources merge to create a line that exudes timeless luxury. But in spite of Casa’s opulence, it’s actually affordable.

2) Reese Witherspoon

Between her lifestyle line, Draper James, and her production company, Hello Sunshine, it seems that Reese Witherspoon is gearing up to become Hollywood’s next mogul. This year she was tapped to become Crate and Barrel’s first celebrity ambassador.

The collaboration is getting underway this holiday season, as Crate and Barrel features Draper James gifts on their site, which draw heavily from Witherspoon’s southern roots. Needless to say, we are looking forward to co-designed collections in 2018.

3) A$AP Ferg

Harlem-based rapper A$AP Ferg has always expressed his passion for style so his transition intohomeware isn’t a surprise. While competitors stick to apparel-based merch, Ferg worked withfancy.com to create a decor line featuring opulent black and gold prints reminiscent of vintage Versace.

In a creative and cool showcase, Ferg sold the line at a pop-up shop modelled after his New York apartment.

4) Joanna and Chip Gaines

This year, fans went crazy when design experts and HGTV superstars Chip and Joanna Gaines launched Hearth and Hand, their homeware collaboration with Target. Some even set up tents outside of Target ahead of the line’s release.

Coming on the heels of the announcement that their show will be coming to an end, Hearth and Hand is launching at a perfect time. Although we will soon be saying goodbye to the couple’s show, fans will have the opportunity to bring a piece of the Gaines family into their homes forever. Maybe even incorporate the pieces into their own fixer-upper!
