The Cityside Stouffville grand opening was a huge success!

The Cityside Stouffville grand opening by DECO Homes, Fieldgate Homes, OPUS Homes, and Starlane Homes was one of the most highly anticipated new home events of the year, so we had to head up to Stouffville to check it out for ourselves.
Since we weren’t buying a home, we didn’t feel the need to arrive hours early, but it did mean we had to park around the block and walk over to the sales centres! We expected this turnout though because when we attended Fiedgate’s Blue Sky opening in Stouffville earlier this year, there were hundreds of people.
The doors opened at 11 am; the builders let in small groups at a time, and everything seemed pretty organized. There was definitely a sense of urgency in the air though. You could tell that people were eager to buy.
We saw some people sitting down with a sales representative right away because they already took the time to review the floor plans, elevations, and even the Agreement of Purchase and Sale, which was available online days before the opening.
More and more builders are making the effort to help their buyers be as prepared as possible on opening day. It makes the sales process so much smoother and there’s a smaller chance of you missing out on the lot or elevation that you wanted. We’ve seen it happen numerous times at busy openings where someone is being indecisive and a more prepared buyer swoops in and purchases the unit they were considering.
Cityside Stouffville features freehold townhomes and 36’ and 40’ detached homes with three-, four-, and five-bedroom floor plans. Something we’re seeing more of is having a choice between traditional and contemporary elevations. When the community is built, the combination of styles will make the streetscape really stand out from other low-rise areas in the Greater Toronto Area.
We’re not sure how many lots are still available at Cityside Stouffville between all four builders; sales were moving pretty briskly. But, we have been notified that the sales centres will be open this week!
The sales centres are located at Ninth Line and Millard St. in Stouffville. Don’t miss this opportunity to live in one of the most sought after communities in the GTA!
