Spring Into Action: Get your home ready for warm weather!
By Lucas on Apr 01, 2016
We’re excited to launch our second Spring Into Action series, focusing on home tips related to the amazing spring weather that will hopefully become more consistently warm in the weeks to come (though the forecast is not encouraging).
We realize we all just experienced some serious freezing rain last week and there’s more cold to come, but let’s try not to let it get us down. It’s time to start thinking about flowers, freshening up your home and garden with new décor and paint colours, and perhaps some larger renovations! It’s common for people to start considering major home renovations in the spring because of the cooler temperatures.
As usual, Mark Cullen, Canada’s gardening guru, will be sharing some amazing tips on how to make the most of your home garden, how to bring the outdoors into your home, and maybe even how to improve your home’s curb appeal. We’ll also be chatting with interior designers to provide some more insight on how to best use the flowery season to inspire your home décor solutions.
If you live in a condo, now is the time that you’re going to be dusting off your balcony furniture, and you’re probably doing the same if you live in a home with a front porch or deck in the backyard. We will be featuring some great tips on how to optimize your outdoor space so you can spend as much time outdoors as possible, whether you aim to be relaxing all spring or entertaining every weekend.
Of course, we’ll be touching on the more serious stuff too, like different maintenance tips to ensure your home stays in tip top shape through the changing season, fluctuating temperatures, and heavy rain.
Stay tuned - the new spring inspired features will be coming your way soon!
