On Sept. 28, we headed up to Keele and Eglinton in Toronto for the exclusive Preview Opening of Silverthorn Heights by ICON Homes.

We visited the Silverthorn Heights Sales Centre earlier in the summer when we went to check out the demolition going on at the site. At the time, it was unfinished - the walls hadn’t even been painted yet and the model kitchen was just being installed. The transformation is astounding. The sleek features and finishes and beautifully mounted floorplans really give you a feel for the high quality and innovative styles that ICON Homes has in store for Silverthorn Heights.

As expected, it was a full house. They had multiple appointments scheduled every hour for the whole day. You don’t hear about too many low-rise communities being built on the edge of the downtown core anymore. Naturally, registration numbers were through the roof, and with only 43 homes available, everyone came ready to pick out their new home.

With a total of 23 sales during the Preview Opening, there are just 20 units remaining.

ICON Homes is doing something really different at Silverthorn Heights. They are making it even easier to choose your true dream home. The remaining units at Silverthorn Heights are two-storey and three-storey semi-detached homes. For the two-storey homes, there are four elevations from which to choose, and all of them can accommodate any one of the seven floorplans available. The three-storeys feature two different floorplan options. When was the last time you were given the option to pick your elevation AND pick your favourite floorplan?

The floorplans for the semis range from 1,796 to 2,360 square feet. All you have to do is go in and pick which one you want and match it to your favourite elevation!

The Silverthorn Heights Sales Centre is located at 2615 Eglinton Avenue West. The doors will be opening at noon, and with only 20  units remaining, you should probably get there early!
