Sales centre traffic high despite fewer home sales

According to the latest report from Trimart Research Corporation, new low-rise sales across the Total Market Area (TMA) dropped compared to last year. But, demand is clearly still strong given the high amount of sales centre traffic and successful openings and releases.
Last week, Fieldgate Homes sold out their limited release of detached homes at Blue Sky in Stouffville (pictured above). And a few days before that, they sold out a release of detached homes at Cobblestones South in West Brampton. Detached homes are the lowest in inventory and the demand is the strongest. As soon as the lots are released, they sell! Trimart says to watch out for Art on Main, a new boutique condo in Milton by Fernbrook Homes.
Listed below are a few notable low-rise sites of the last month:
Downsview Park by Mattamy Homes
Placing first on this week’s Trimart Hot Spots list is Downsview Park, a successful condo development in Toronto by Mattamy Homes. Last month, there were 75 sales! The condo features units ranging from 555 to 1,226 square feet with prices starting from $279,990.
TIME Village by Treasure Hill Homes
The second spot is taken by Time Village, a new home community in Aurora by Treasure Hill Homes. With 52 sales recently, the development is now sold out. Time Village featured condo townhomes ranging from 975 to 1,560 square feet with prices starting at $599,900.
Saddle Ridge by Greenpark Homes
Coming in third with 32 sales last month is Saddle Ridge, a new home community in Milton by Greenpark Homes. The community features freehold townhomes ranging from 1,578 to 2,363 square feet. Prices start from $759,900.
U.C. by Tribute Communities
The fourth position is taken by U.C., a successful community in Oshawa by Tribute Communities. There were 23 sales last month and Tribute is now accepting registrations for the next release. U.C. offers a wide variety of home types, including semis, townhomes, and 30’, 36’, and 43’ detached homes. The plans range from 1,444 to 3,099 square feet and prices start from $465,990. Durham real estate is heating up, so now is the time to act!
Stonebury Gates by Coughlan Homes
Speaking of Durham, here’s an Ajax community that saw 20 sales last month. Stonebury Gates by Coughlan Homes features townhomes and 35’ detached homes ranging from 1,576 to 2,872 square feet. These homes start at $977,490.
