Not everyone is talented in the art of interior decorating - that’s why there are professionals you can hire. Then there are people who aren’t talented in the art of interior decorating, but also don't want to pay to have it done for them...The Highlands Special Decor Seminar is for the latter.
The Decor Seminar, offered by The Daniels Corporation, is taking place on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 10 am at Townhome #22 in The Highlands community at 804 Shadrach Drive in Newmarket. All attendees will receive tips from the Daniels Decor Team on how to select versatile furniture pieces, and they will review current colour trends. The Decor Team will also explain the approach behind the selection of the features and finishes at The Highlands. It’s rare to be able to attend a seminar and hear why a builder selected certain features and finishes over others. This will definitely help any purchaser (or prospective purchaser) move into their new home with a decor strategy in mind. Everyone in attendance will also have the opportunity to win a FREE decor consultation in your very own home with the Daniels Director of Design & Decor.
The Highlands Phase 2
Daniels is currently building and selling Phase 2 of The Highlands, which is also the final phase, and you can move in this year! There is a great selection of two-storey townhomes ranging from 1,631 to 1,963 square feet, all of which have three-bedroom floor plans. A few of the features and finishes that you will definitely learn more about at the Decor Seminar include finished lower level walkouts, granite countertops, oak staircases, ceramic tile, as well as 9’ ceilings and wrap-around front porches.
Located in Newmarket just off Bayview Avenue, between St. John’s Sideroad and Mulock Drive, The Highlands is surrounded by a wealth of amenities and green space. The Ecological Park Conservation Area, St. Andrew’s Valley Golf Course, and Wesley Brooks Conservation Area run along the west side of the community, providing plenty of natural beauty.
For daily errands, there are many grocery stores and big box stores a couple minutes to the south, such as Sobeys, Real Canadian Superstore, and Home Depot. There are also many entertainment and recreational facilities, including Cineplex Odeon Theatre, the Aurora Sports Dome, and the Magna Centre Arena, which features an Olympic sized and three NHL sized ice rinks, a community pool, a gymnasium and walking track, multi-purpose rooms, a restaurant, and a pro-shop.
When it comes to getting around town - or even out of town - travel is a breeze since The Highlands is directly in the middle between the Newmarket and Aurora GO Stations. Yonge Street is only a few minutes west of The Highlands for north and south travel, and the 404 is about the same distance in the other direction for even quicker north and south driving. Aurora is one of the GTA’s most affluent towns, so having easy access to all of its amenities is a big plus!
