For Andreas Peter Bogojevic, purchasing a suite at Paintbox Condominiums in Regent Park means he can own his first home and live near his parents in Riverdale.
“I am really excited about all the changes in Regent Park,” Andreas says. “I wanted to stay in this general area of Toronto, and the future of the revitalized community is amazing. Paintbox Condominiums fronts onto the park, and I’m thrilled about the City of Toronto Aquatic Centre being so close. I am a swimming instructor for the City, so this will be awesome for me.”
Andreas is also a child and youth worker for Toronto District School Board who works all over the city. He owns a car, and he appreciates the easy access to public transit in Regent Park as well. “It’s great to know I can catch a bus or streetcar so conveniently.”
He purchased a one-bedroom + den suite and intends to use the den as a flexible space. “I have a pullout couch I can put in there so it can double as a guest bedroom.” He explains that he is “oblivious” to things like decorating, so Andreas is relying on a friend to help him furnish the rest of the suite. “He has an iPad with a program that lets him put in my room dimensions and then try out different colours and furniture items. I want to go high end and fairly neutral, and I look forward to the result.”
Andreas adds that his first home purchase experience has been very positive. “I lived with my parents to save money so I could afford to buy. I believe my suite will increase in value a lot over time so it’s a great investment, but my main reason for choosing Paintbox is to live in this exciting, changing community. This location is amazing for me!”
