Kingdom hosted an extravagant launch event in Yorkville last week, celebrating the new Scarborough development, which will play a key role in the growth of the already established Kennedy Central neighbourhood.

KSquare Condos will feature two towers rising from a shared podium, with the East Tower hitting 34 storeys and the West Tower reaching 31 storeys. There will be a total of 644 units with one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, ranging from 450 to 1,325 square feet.
A few of the impressive amenities include a 24-hour concierge, a party room, two dining rooms with catering areas, a fitness facility, a rooftop terrace, a kids room, and a pet grooming area. There’s also a music rehearsal space, which we’ve only seen in a couple other Greater Toronto Area condos.
One other amenity that really stands out is the library and study area, which according to the developer will be the largest private condo library in Toronto. At the launch event, Sunray Group of Hotels, Tomas Pearce Interior Design, and IBI Group Architects each committed to donating 1,500 books to the KSquare Library.
There are a couple reasons why KSquare Condos is currently the talk of the town. For one, Kingdom Developments has millions of square feet of residential and commercial space under their belt in China, Vancouver, and around the world. KSquare Condos is their entry into Toronto’s condo market. They have a history of developing successful luxury projects, so it will be interesting to see what they bring to Scarborough!
Secondly, the area is poised for growth with transit infrastructure in the works, such as the proposed Line 2 extension. Located at Kennedy and Sheppard Ave. East, there are already a few transit options close to KSquare Condos, like the Agincourt GO Station, and Hwy 401 is easily accessible.
