We can’t hide it - Yonge and Eglinton is simply one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto. That’s why we’re so excited about Menkes’ new condo development, The Eglinton, which they are collecting registrations for right now!

Get it? Very clever Menkes. Honestly though, what’s not to love about the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood? Last summer, when we explored the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood for our Walkability series, the area received a Walk Score of 98. A year later, Walkscore.com gives the neighbourhood a perfect score of 100, calling it a “Walker’s Paradise” because daily errands don’t require a car.
Located at 161 Eglinton Avenue East, The Eglinton’s Walk Score is 93 and it’s only a five minute walk to Yonge and the subway station! The true beauty of the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood is that you get the excitement of downtown without being in the heart of downtown. There’s every possible amenity you could need, including groceries, theatres, bars, restaurants, shopping, etc., and the neighbourhood still feels like an intimate, tightly knit community. There’s even a farmer’s market on Yonge during the warmer months!
