On Sept. 14, Remington Homes hosted the Preview Opening of their highly anticipated Oakville community, The Preserve.

A big crowd at The Preserve

We headed over to Dundas and Neyagawa in Oakville to check out how the day was going. We knew that things were going well when we saw how many cars were packed onto the site.

We arrived around 1:00pm and met Remington’s Sales and Marketing Manager Erin Millar at the front door. Millar explained that they had hundreds of appointments scheduled, and that they had already sold over 80 units. By the end of the day, Remington ended up selling over 150!

We squeezed our way into the Presentation Centre to check out the action. We were shoulder to shoulder with some pretty excited homebuyers. Families and couples crowded around siteplans and floorplans. Remington’s sales team was taking advantage of the beautiful weather and writing deals out on the back porch.

We have to say, we don’t think we’ve been to an opening as busy as this in a while. It was great to see!

About The Preserve

The Preview Opening that took place last weekend was for Remington’s first phase at The Preserve. There will be a total of four phases comprising the entire community. Phase 1 of The Preserve features rear townhomes on 20’ lots, townhomes on 23’ lots, and detached singles on 34’ and 38’ lots (45’ and 50’ singles are coming soon).

The sizes of the rear townhomes range from 1,750 to 2,264 square feet, and prices are starting at $439,990. The townhomes range from 1,637 to 2,493 square feet, with prices starting at $449,990. And the singles range from 2,157 to 3,376 square feet, with prices starting at $627,990.

The Preserve in Oakville

Located near Dundas and Neyagawa, The Preserve is the beginning of north Oakville’s development. All your daily amenities, like grocery stores, shopping centres, pharmacies, and restaurants are literally across the street, just south of Dundas. Remington is taking advantage of this prime piece of real estate and bringing their signature luxury to Oakville, a style which will complement the town’s already sophisticated atmosphere.

We couldn’t think of a better location in Oakville for Remington to make their mark. We are really looking forward to watching The Preserve develop over the next few years.
