Photo Feature: Construction Sites

Every week, we present photos from sales centres, grand openings, construction tours, etc. This week, we’re attempting to display our transforming city in a different light with some black and white photography of Toronto’s condo construction.

We went out to a number of different sites, from the east end to the west, camera in hand, looking for the best shots. We normally approach a construction site mostly concerned about the progress that has been made. With this photo project, we want to show that not only is the building a work of art, but the entire process of its creation.

For the most part, we do believe that the people of Toronto have embraced the great condo surge that we are experiencing, but there are still some that don’t believe in vertical growth. Perhaps they just haven’t looked at it from the right angle.

These photos are simply an attempt to showcase a few of the many great condo developments currently underway in Toronto. We would like to invite any other local photographers that love Toronto to contact us to be featured. We would love to display your portrayal of our great city (and give you a little exposure at the same time)!
