The Perry: Everyone Loves it. Everyone!

We were just doing our perusing of local blogs to see what the city is saying about some of the new condo developments on the way, and stumbled upon an interesting one on BlogTo.
Titled, “New in Toronto real estate: The Perry Condos,” written by Robyn Urback - it was quite surprising. Actually, it wasn’t so much the article that was surprising - Urback normally writes fair reviews - but the comments that were shocking.
Usually, on any popular Toronto blog directed at the young and young at heart, such as BlogTo, real estate developments are not received well be commenters. There’s always someone complaining about heights, shadowing, or the neighbourhood’s damaged integrity, and so on. But for The Perry by Mansouri Living, it is a whole different story.
Take a look at some of the comments:
“...If the building and suites look anything like the renderings and sales office I think this is going to be a place that people want to live. Best of luck!” - Douglas
“...The one bedroom suite I purchased at the Perry is perfect for me. I'll still be in my neighbourhood and the suite comes with everything I've always wanted - no upgrading was required!” - Claire Vedros
“..I am a big fan of boutique buildings and think this one will be a great investment for someone looking to buy and hold. Looking forward to watching it go up!” - Cait
“I love, love, love the look of this building! Ave & Dav is cool - it always has been, and I think always will be.” - TorontoMaven
A commenter on BlogTo actually expressed excitement in watching The Perry go through the construction process. That never happens on BlogTo! If The Perry has won over this crowd, it certainly has the love of the entire city.
The Perry was designed by Young + Wright/IBI Group Architects/GH3, and will eventually stand 11 storeys. There are just 45 luxury suites at The Perry, featuring high-end standards, like Gaggenau appliances, engineered hardwood flooring, and Poliform kitchens. The sizes of the suites range from 540 to 3,250 square feet, with some outdoor terraces reaching 900 square feet.
So what is it about The Perry that makes it so lovable? The modest height? The amazing features and finishes? The cool design? The great location? It’s probably the combination of all the above that has won over the hearts of Torontonians.
Like BlogTo commenter Cait, we are also looking forward to watching The Perry by Mansouri Living rise! Stay tuned, as we will be following the construction process of The Perry closely!
