Since the last time we caught up with Minto at Minto Longbranch in Toronto, about 260 homes have sold! Following their success, they’ve decided to extend this community, expecting to release new product later on this summer.
Having started off as a cottage country neighbourhood; just slightly outside of the city in a lakeside community, this area has transformed over time to combine the best of both worlds. Newinhomes.com caught up with Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Amanda Wilson Watkins from Minto who told us that there are only 30 units remaining! “With so much to offer, our buyers are really the first ones to discover the area,” says Watkins. “To have something new and affordable coming into this area has made people very happy.”
Sizes of the remaining units range from 981 to 1,545 square feet. Watkins says that these beautiful homes are appealing to a varied demographic including young first-time buyers, empty nesters, people looking to downsize and investors. In fact, 30% of the buyers at Minto Longbranch are first-timers! With unbelievably affordable prices ranging from $360,000 to $540,000 for luxurious finishes and the latest in environmentally sustainable technology, it’s no surprise that there are only a few units left!
Not to worry though, Watkins tells us that we can expect to see new product with the same high quality and the same affordable prices. “There’s no set demographic; affordability has been the key so far, so we’re not going to change the formula,” explains Watkins.
