One Park Place South in Regent Park is 75% Sold!

It seems like only yesterday that The Daniels Corporation was breaking ground in Toronto at One Park Place with the Regent Park community. Well, the north tower of One Park Place is now occupied, and we recently had the chance to tour the south tower to see how construction was coming along.
The Rosemary
As usual, we met with Dominic Tompa, the broker of record at City Life Realty, and Megan Aird, Communications & Social Media Coordinator at Daniels, to tour the building. The first stop was The Rosemary on the 27th floor, a two-bedroom+den, 852 square foot unit with 59 square feet of balcony space. We stopped in at this unit because it is the largest unit available at One Park Place South, and Tompa pointed out that even though the unit is on the north side of the building, whoever lives there will still have incredible views of the lake. There aren’t many buildings in Toronto that provide a view of the lake from a north facing unit!

The units on the higher levels of One Park Place South haven’t had drywall installed yet, but the construction crew is swiftly moving their way up the building. The lower levels have major features and finishes like kitchens and bathrooms installed, and the amenities look incredible. Most of the amenities are complete because they are shared with the north tower. The only amenity that still needs some work is the half-court gymnasium.

Occupancy is scheduled to commence mid-December, so there should be some real progress made over the next few weeks. While we were on site, the crew was testing the fire alarms – that’s how you know occupancy is taking place soon!
The next stop on our tour was a one-bedroom+den unit on the southwest corner, which Tompa explained was one of the most popular floorplans. We can see why. The layout is perfect; it’s bright and open, but there is still a clear division between the living spaces even without furniture. It’s a really functional space and it’s easy to picture how it would be decorated.

Speaking of décor – we also had the opportunity to pop into a few model suites. The first one we visited was The Primrose, a fully furnished one-bedroom+den, 613 square foot model on the fourth floor. The kitchen was sleek and the living room spacious. The den was sectioned off, but still connected to the main living space, making for a perfect place to study or work without being completely detached from family members or other loved ones.

The next model we visited was The Curant, a 1,301 square foot, two-bedroom+den townhome. The entire east side and part of the south on the ground floor of One Park Place South is lined with townhomes. These homes are designed more for small to medium sized families because they are all two- and three-bedroom plans with a second storey where the bedrooms and dens are located. Tompa also pointed out how the townhomes face the new recreation field, which is right across the street, so parents will be able to watch their children play cricket and soccer from their living rooms or kitchens. This kind of view is another rare find for downtown Toronto!

One Park Place South is about 75 percent sold and there are still a number of one-bedrooms available, with prices starting in the high $200,000s. The majority of the remaining units are slightly larger and start in the $300,000s.
If you are in search of the condo lifestyle and want breathtaking views of Toronto, then you need to learn more about how you can call One Park Place South home. With occupancy taking place in December, the condo is also the perfect opportunity for those of you looking for a quick move!
