On The Danforth by DIAM Developments is now under construction!

One project we’ve been following closely over the last two years is On The Danforth, DIAM Developments’ premier condo development in Toronto. This week, we were happy to attend the official groundbreaking event for the sold out condo!
Politicians came out for the big day, including Mary-Margaret McMahon, Councillor, Ward 32 – Beaches-East York, Arthur Potts, MPP, Beaches-East York, and Diana Gonzalez, representing Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, MP, Beaches-East York. Moninder Khudal, CEO, DIAM Developments, and other DIAM teammates were also in attendance.
“We are planning to do the shoring this month and from there we’ll be going non-stop, aiming for occupancy at the beginning of 2019, and we’re very excited for everything,” said Khudal.
We remember chatting with Khudal back in 2015 when DIAM was preparing for the launch of On The Danforth. “People are going to see the difference in our building,” Khudal told us. “The quality will be top of the line. It’s the small, small details that make a difference – how the kitchen cabinets are hung, how the tiling is installed, if the kitchen island is set right. We bring a high quality of workmanship to our developments.”

DIAM Developments has a history in building superior quality luxury homes, and they brought this design approach and building philosophy into the new condo market. When the first model suite opened, we got our first look at what Khudal meant by “It’s the small, small details that make a difference.”
The interior design by esQape Design appealed to a wide range of buyers, featuring a spacious den, 9’ ceilings, engineered laminate flooring, dark kitchen cabinetry, and contemporary furniture pieces. Clearly, this look won over many buyers because the condo is sold out.
Before the model suite opened, and even before sales began, we had a chance to tour the onsite presentation centre. At this point, it was clear that DIAM Developments was bringing something new to this neighbourhood. The effort and planning they put into the presentation centre was just an example of how much work must have gone into planning the floor plans and design of On The Danforth.
Located at 2359 Danforth Avenue, between Woodbine and Main Street, On The Danforth is in the heart of an up-and-coming neighbourhood. Over the last few years, some interesting residential plans have been announced for the area, and there is already a wealth of amenities along the highly walkable streetscape. Without a doubt, purchasers at On The Danforth made a great investment!
